CEROI Indicator Resources

The indicator resources of the CEROI Programme has two main parts:

Comparison of urban indicator data

A limited set of core indicators are common for all CEROI cities, making it possible to compare some key values in an easy way.  These indicators will be accessible both through individual city reports and through this site.

CEROI is currently collecting indicator data from member cities - data for the following cities will be made accessible from this page early this year.

Cape Town
Durban
Pretoria
Johannesburg
Kiev
Prague
Kosice

Comparisons of indicators among cities will be facilitated later in 2001 - please visit http://ceroi.net for updates on the CEROI Indicator Database.

Indicators
encyclopedia

The Indicator Enyclopedia offers detailed information about individual indicators such as measurements, references and examples.

The encyclopedia assists cities in selecting indicators by developing lists of proposed indicators for individual issues and themes. City-specific indicators for individual themes make up the main part of a city SoE report.

DPSIR is proposed as a framework for presenting city-specific indicators within CEROI reports.
