Differences ate caused by the following factors:

·         Work infemale” branches is paid worse than work in branches with predominant male labour;

·         Male professions are better paid;

·         There is a difference in the labour remuneration to men and women having the same professions. 

The calculations of researchers show that if the salary levels of men and women differ by 30-40%, under other equal conditions the pension savings of women will amount to 70-77% of men,s savings. Going on baby-minding leave will reduce the pension savings of women by 7-11%, two children “eat up” 14-21% of the savings and three children – 21-30%.
