          Filling stations
The adopted decisions on the prohibition to sell automobile fuel directly from mobile filling stations have improved the ecological situation considerably. In recent years the number of automobile filling stations which are functioning or under construction has grown. Filling stations are located in green zones, close to residential houses, in the zones of sanitary protection of rivers and reservoirs, without required systems of rainfall run-off treatment and ground water protection. Almost 20% stations do not have environment protection facilities (oil catchers) and waterproof pavements. Actually, the state does control the quality of automobile fuel.
