Noise

What are the impacts of this issue

The level of noise is considerably influenced by the fact that the major part of motor transport stock has served for many years and is obsolete and depreciated. Most of the vehicles imported into the republic are automobiles with a service life of 7 and more years. There is no legislation specifying the maximum age limit of imported vehicles, and customs taxes do dot stimulate the import of new automobiles.

The low quality of the thoroughfares, carriageway pavement also leads to the rise of the noise level. The noise pollution is also increased by the permanent repairs of carriageways which is done by patching, using minimal mechanical aid, what causes the necessity of new repairs every season.
