 How does the SECTOR influence city environment 

The development of automobile transportation is one of the causes of more intensive impact of transport on the environment during last decades. A significant increase of individual automobile transportation is recorded on public cross-town communications, on the basic communication system of the city as well as on local service roads.

 What is the SECTOR in the City like

Road transport

The transport communication system of Košice is created by two circles and basic radial roads:

  • internal circle – ensures the internal service of the Central City Zone,

  • external circle – ensures the service of the city core and interconnection of radial roads.

 What is being done to make the SECTOR more environment-friendly 

  • to complete the superior and basic communication system of the city,

  • to support and stimulate for the construction of large-capacity multi-floor parking garages at selected areas of the CCZ.
