 What is being done to
make the SECTOR more environment-friendly
- to complete the superior and basic communication system of the
city,
- to support and stimulate for the construction of
large-capacity multi-floor parking garages at selected areas of
the CCZ,
- to build catching parking lots on the circumference of the
city at the city access areas with the heaviest traffic connected
to good quality and quantity public
transport
communication lines,
- to improve the quality of services of the public transport and
give priority to this type of transport at crossroads with traffic
lights,
- to carry out the reconstruction of tram routes and extend
gradually the lines of ecological type of transport pursuant to
the strategy of the public transport, i.e. to build tram and
trolley-bus lines in housing estates,
- to complete the integrated transport system in relation to the
Railway Company of the Slovak Republic and the Slovak Bus
Transport Company and co-ordinate time intervals of the public
city transport,
- to support the building of cycling routes.
