Biodiversity

   What is causing the problems

The present state of vegetation is only a remnant of the original natural vegetation. Initial cover of vegetation has been changed very much, or totally destroyed by intensive or extensive influence of man. Original vegetation preserved on agriculturally unsuitable or inaccessible territories.

The town pressure and its unremitting spreading of the built-up space drives out natural segments to the peripheral locations, but even these are attacked by the city dwellers to satisfy short-term weekend recreation.
