Waste management |
What is being done to solve the problems
 In order to
organise waste management in the city, several projects have been
implemented over the past few years, including projects with the
participation of foreign partners. The draft plan for Riga City
Solid Waste Management 1994 - 2005 has been developed. Based on the
results obtained, the Waste Management Concept has been developed
setting forth six goals aimed at the organisation of waste
management.
